During the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, a majority of the Palestinian Arab population fled or were forced to leave their homes, resulting from a war that Arabs started the very next day after Israel declared itself the only independent Jewish state. Collective Arab States started a war to gain 100% of the land and they lost.
