I’m perfectly open to a discussion of whether arms subsidies are a good idea,
but I’m not quite dumb enough to consider that eliminating those subsidies would allow the US to make much progress in the quality of healthcare, housing stock and education……
particularly at a point in time when conservative lawmakers are all for gutting public education via subsidized private education.
