Well the belligernt occupation was necessary to prevent Hamsa from arming the
Palestinians, and yes Hamas smuggled in weapons, but not on the scale as if there were no restrictinons. You see Hamas had a mandate to eliminate Israel from which there was no compromise. They used Gaza only for their territory to be able to launch munitions into Israel. The people of Gaza were being used big time, thinking Hamas “had their back”, but nothing could be farther from the truth. In this 5th. war, Gaza suffered over 45,000 dead, more100,000 injured and about 11,000 missng. Add to that 20 billion indamages for such a small place. Now please tell again how Hamas “had their back”? By the way, Israel suffered only about 1,700 casualties and almost no damage. Hamas is now almost gone and won’t rule Gaza any more. Now the same fate awaits Lebanon, by allowing Hezollah into their government. Lebanon is now babkrupt ans a failed state, with their people robbing banks just to get their own money out. How good is that? Both Lebanon and Gaza were lured into two Iran proxies were going to “save them”, what a hard lesson.
