Everything you talk about in terms of the suffering of people in the Middle East has been created by the US and its lackey allies like Israel.
The Islamic Empire collapsed for the same reason the British Empire collapsed and the American Empire is collapsing. All Empires collapse.
And since what you call the Islamic world contains Christians and even Jews, as well as a few Hindus, what on earth are you on about? There is no united Islamic world.
