I agree that it is unreasonable to expect the UN to be democratic given its structure and constituent membership. Nor does it aspire to be, that would be a mistaken notion.
I am glad that I’m not the only one who fondly remembers the Grand Duchy. Unfortunately possession of the Q-bomb would be disastrous. As I recall, in the movie they had a scene where the Q-bomb went off only to say a moment later that it didn’t really happen. A Heisenberg uncertainty IMHO, could have gone either way. The only way to determine what would happen is to look inside the box to find out and no-one ought to be curious enough determined enough to carry out the experiment, especially if they are anticipating a pleasurable afterlife.
