Re: Gaza Civil Defence: 2,800 bodies incinerated, and we are searching for the bodies of 10,000 others

The Civil Defence Authority in Gaza revealed that the bodies of more than 2,800 Gazans incinerated due to the Occupation’s use of weapons that produce high temperatures. (from article)
……………………………………
When people die, at times cremation is allowed, which can arrive up to about 1,800 C°. What the C.D.

Authority in Gaza is probably describing is the use of a bomb that creates an explosion envelope above that temperature. This bomb’s ‘fuel’ gases that are are released mix with the air/oxygen to invigorate the burning process. These bombs operate at above 2000 C° and are used often in either man-made or natural formed enclosed environments. So if they are used in an urban environment, extra precautions need to be taken to distance non-combatants from the target location. Depending upon the size/weight of these types of bombs, they can be relatively economical to purchase.

But quite likely, if the combatants are within the explosion envelope, their bodies will have turned to ashes and been sent in all directions. Even though they cannot be recovered, they still are part of the fallen of war time and may they r.i.p..
