There has been an increase of surveillance since 7oct2023. The intel gathering is not just from the Gazans, but also eyes in the skies, and as we note from the article also eyes on the ground. It is important that the IDF continues to monitor and collect data on movements of all persons, which can be done with the surveillance the technologies. Many of the tunnels had to remain untouched for hostage safety reasons, but there the non stop aerial surveillance is registering the ones not noted previously. The IDF has bugged Gaza, and now hopes to retrieve many of the hostages in these next few weeks. But the jihadis will probably interrupt the exchange of kidnapped people for prisoners. The war is far from over and both sides are anxious to get back to the fight.
