The UK has a lot to hide. Its perfidy and betrayal of the sacred trust of civilization owed to the Palestinians will be exposed in all its gory detail and require extensive reparations from the UK directly. This is the real reason why the UK is protecting itself with denials and misrepresentations. It doesn’t want to have to pay for its crimes.
