As a war of cultures and religious war, this framing is not that used by the Palestinians. It is just used and abused to sow distrust, division to keep up a narrative, to instill fear, to frame others as thread to the own existence, which threatens the future of keeping this divided Status quo, where separation and excessive force, would not longer work or could be justified. The dehumanizing of the other, the justifications for every punitive measures by narratives, which becomes the description of a group’s behavior, to describe it as hostile thread, like suppressing celebrations of family reunions, a moment where it is just a human expression of feeling towards loved ones, missed family members!
To portray it as a hostile thread and outrageous, how disillusioned is that?
To see the other group of people, more than 5 million as something to need get rid of, to name it and frame it as an goal, achievable and somehow justified is so distorted from reality, of what could be an acceptable goal, but the repeating and keeping of these narratives to somehow excuse an inexcusable solution, to try to sell it, to the world as something of a better future, to get rid of others, is so far from the demands of the most countries in the world, it is insane, to belief it is anyhow an acceptable solution. But a population is told to believe in it, that is why it is true that it didn’t would end, without pressure to end the violence between Israeli citizens and Palestinians, the dividing repeating of cycles of phases of violence, repeating of bloodshed, of dehumanizing and inhumanity of every time of violent escalations the toxicity of repeatedly told narratives, of threatening existence, is so entrenched and intertwined with national identity, without pressure to accept and respect the existence of the other group of people, it would not end by itself and people will be harmed and killed with no end in sight.
Whether Israeli’s nor Palestinians would just cease to exist, just disappear or some other miraculous illusion to become a fulfillment, of such a distorted ideological belief, let alone be in any way acceptable to resolve the conflict!
How many years or decades should the death, destruction and bloodshed should keep going?
For Peace and Peacebuilding the killing must end!
