Hamas’s stated goal is the complete destruction of Israel and to replace it with an Islamic State. To Hamas, a two state solution is considered defeat, so who are you going to talk to???
This whole mess was initiated by Hamas in a misguided attempt to hurt Israelis without consideration that if they massacred enough Jews and rounded up hundreds more as hostages, that this would somehow workout well for the good people of Gaza.
Can anyone on this comment section explain a scenario where Hamas’s methods would benefit the everyday Gazan people, unless all the dead will be received as martyrs and the men will have virgins in the afterlife. What have all the young women and mothers gotten out of Hamas’s methods??? — Please give an academic response
