Palestinians aren’t Arab. They are Levantine. Their DNA can be traced back to at least 3800 BCE on the basis of viable remains of inhabitants from the region through archaeology. They pre-exist not only the Muslim Empire, but many earlier empires that took control of the region over time before that.
