They feel like they need to keep reminding the people of the world about their holocaust who had absolutely nothing to do with it! They keep repeating the holocaust has a reminder that if they are kicked out of Palestine that there will be another holocaust – and therefore they need to remain there on that piece of Arab land where they do not belong.
