IDF’s primary objectives:
– complete control of buffer zone and other nearby strategic positions in Syria.
– to establish a security zone extending beyond the buffer zone, to remove all heavy weaponry and terrorist infrastructure.
– establishing contact with local Druze communities and other local communities.
– to prevent the reestablishment of Iranian arms smuggling routes to Lebanon,
– to continue the destruction of heavy weapons systems throughout Syria (in example: air-defense, missile systems, and coastal defense facilities).
