Cromwell did do that but I think you have to consider the views of Balfour in 1905 when he talked about the jewish problem to get an idea of a more contemporary British view and how that prompted him in 1917 to make the balfour declaration in order to help remove their jewish problem. Some daily papers, still on record, even complained about taking in jewish children during the second world war is a further example of the wider british view at the time. These views were clearly pushed by those on the right and I do not agree with them but they were prevalent at the time.
the canaanites are not gone. According to research the Jews and the Palestinians are descended from them.
Did your zionist history lessons include the speeches of Theodore Herzl of 1895 in which he said and wrote that in order for the Zionist prject to succeed it would be necessary to get rid of the Palestinians? Did it include information on how history was twisted and re-written often through zionist propaganda to fit the zionist narrative ? Did it explain how an early 1020’s UN resolution suggested that in order to stay in the land of Palestine legally Zionists should be given Palestinian citizenship? Did it explain why the word Palestine appeared on many of their early business registrations such as post offices, water companies and such like?
Between the river and the sea is exactly my sentiment. At least we agree on something.
