The IDF is helping to reduce the risk of future conflicts in southern Lebanon and southern Syria by maintaining an eagle’s eye from the various high elevation installations. This will help not only Israel, but also Lebanon, Syria and Jordan to reduce smuggling and jihadi activities. These countries can save in costs and personnel by allocating the surveillance to the IDF mountain posts.
