You need to remember that the Ashkenazi and the Christians of Europe were intimately known to each other an extremely hated each other! The Christians of Europe were desperately looking for a place to get rid of the Jews and then Palestine became that place to get rid of them. Today, the issue between the Muslims of the world and the Christians of the West has to do with the insertion of the completely alien European Jews in Palestine.
