One of the more obscure Arab media sites posted breaking news that Hamas reports that the bombings killed an Israeli captive. I didn’t find any corroborating report on any other Arab site, and the news snippet on the first site disappeared. Likely the original message got garbled and was misreported. I wouldn’t be surprised if such news starts appearing though. Only those who belong to whom M. Scott Peck called “The People of the Lie” can claim that one of the goals of the present violence is the freeing of the captives.
