Hamas is not the authority in the West Bank, but Palestinians there are getting the same treatment as those in Gaza.
Annexing of all of Palestine was the plan from day one, which is why Netanyahu blocked every attempt at a two state solution during his tenure. The ultranationalists in Israel are talking openly about annexing Gaza. That’s why the Israelis changed the terms of the ceasefire.
As for Oct 7, Israel had already killed 44 Palestinian kids in 2023 before Oct 7.
