The Zionists who founded Israel refused the original partition deal, which is why they forcibly expelled Palestinians from their homesalmost a million Palestinians, carried out multiple massacres and assassinated Folk Bernadotte.
They wanted much more of Palestine than was on offer and expected the non-Jewish Palestinian majority to live in ever decreasing strips of remaining land that would later fall under occupation, as part of the David Ben Gurion’s original plan.
