So after 3000 years how did they know they were Palestinians , a nation that never existed in human history? I agree that the Canaanites merged with the Hebrews but their identity was lost thousands of years ago.
So again when did they do (historically) a Rip van Winkle. The first Muslim conquest was in 638 and they were not called Palestinians.
