The distance between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia is about 5,000 miles and it would be easy to assume that hardly any people from Indonesia went to Mecca to perform Hajj before there were any airplanes or trains. Therefore, in those days, Mecca was not crowded. I don’t think it is a good idea to bring children under the age of 15 to Mecca during Hajj.
