It is not the Palestinians, which are threaten the very existence of a whole population, they couldn’t, and also didn’t could nor would have the amount of needed advanced armed forces and weaponry to do so.
As, it is, with the citizens and civilians of the Israeli society, Palestinians and members of their civil society, have their right’s to exist, on their land…
The most far-right extremist Israeli Government, is one of the most serious threats, which is part of the root causes, for not having a peaceful co-existence, realized.
War goals of erasure, ethnic cleansing, extermination, forced expulsion, of an entire population of the “Others” are not proportionate, not a lawful demand or justified act of self-defense!
It was not, it is not, it would not, be an appropriate, proportionate, or legitimate demand and justifiable war goal or seen as collateral damage while conducted in an act of self-defense under international law!
Hamas and PIJ, as armed groups, in an asymmetrical warfare of this scale and nature, is another root cause of the war not being resolved, unacceptable from Israeli perspective and with it, even unacceptable for other countries of the United nations members, which are allied, supportive or with strong relationships to Israel, to accept it’s existence in the future, to be a strong faction, of the future or to invest heavily in the Palestinian cause, the infrastructure or in the peace process and an end of the war.
The European, British, France, Germany along few other countries, would not and/or could not, change their mind, to have and invest in an alternative, to allow for an acceptance, of having this armed palestinian groups, as a strong faction, of the palestinian society.
A matter of fact, is there are so called terrorists on both sides: Armed palestinian factions are called: Terrorists
In the Israeli Government, there are convicted Terrorists, too.
These are huge obstacles for any peace process or to stop these asymmetric warfare of massive death and destruction, violence and hatred!
The most extreme and hardline ideological driven figures, are parts of the Governments structures or are an influencing voice for the extremist groups of their society or government structures and in their leaderships, to not being able, to resolve this conflict and end the bloodshed.
PM Mr. Netanyahu, Israel Katz, Bezalel Smotrich, Itamar Ben-Gvir and some others are not of an ideological mindset of peaceful co-existence, they never were or want to be.
The PA, it’s Armed forces and it’s coordination with and alongside the Israeli defense forces, are not of a peaceful faction or made for peace either.
For a peaceful co-existence, they are all the wrong figures in control right now.
For these most far right Israeli government, any independent strong palestinian government structure, is seen as a Thread, an future Enemy needed to engage with.
For the Palestinian society, the actual PA, it’s Military forces and it’s Government structure are more a thread than a trusted hopeful entity, to serve and protect the Palestinian society!
And those Palestinian armed groups, called: “Terrorists” as part of the Governance
in Gaza are unacceptable, for Israeli, US, British, Hungary, France and the German Governments, for any realistic or clear vision to formulate an plan to push for an acceptable solution for both: Palestinians and Israelis, to enforce such a plan, to invest in it and to finally, resolve the entrenched conflict and hateful violence of reoccurring again, with a lasting Peace implemented and enforced!
It also doesn’t: Justifies or legitimise, the continuation of these asymmetrical warfare, of bloodshed, death and destruction!
Not ethnic cleansing, not annexation, also no extermination are proportionate, legitimate, distinctive measures and not seen or accepted, as legitimate strategic goals and part of any lawful rules of engagement, to disproportionately inflict harm on a mass scale of cruel, violent outrageous and inhuman acts of warfare.
