Although I speak out against anti-Semitism in every situation and always insist that we must never forget the terrible events of the Holocaust, I am absolutely stunned by the brutal, inhuman, lawless oppression and genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza and the Occupied Territories. Actually, I shouldn’t say ‘although’, because one is a logical consequence of the other. It seems that the desire of many (not all!!) Israelis to cause harm and suffering to other ethnic groups is almost respected and encouraged by their government. Israel will go down in history as the disgraced and shameful record holder of human rights abuses.
