Hey Sherril, eff off. Israel is a Zionist project and does not represent all Jews, including my Jewish friend. Jews married into my family almost 80 years ago and I had cousins who were Jews but not accepted as Jews, by Jews. I saw the internal Jewish bickering and how that relative was ostracized.
Legislating history is a bad idea irrespective of what it is. In Canada today, there is an attempt to legislate the lie of Residential Schools. The issue is whether or not opinion should be criminalized. As for “antisemitic tropes”, I think Douglas Reed dealt with that before I was born.
