Trump views the world in terms of winners and losers. All his hand-picked principals and staffers are mini-me versions of him. They strive, even desperately, to be always among the winners. And they take sadistic pleasure in inflicting suffering of one kind or another on the losers. It’s a worldview and sadistic lust shared by pathological narcissists. But it’s out of touch with reality and it leads to confrontations on one-way roads of ever increasing escalation. Yet Trump and his team will abuse the people of the world no matter the cost, even to America. Abuse is something that pathological narcissists feel compelled to do.
