Netanyahu has morphed into Napoleon, the tyrannical pig in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. Included in Netanyahu’s new job description for Shin Bet director: Abjectly subservient personality, a brown-noser, has never peeped a squeak against the accepted hasbara. How curious, that Orwell’s critique of fascism applies so neatly to Netanyahu’s Israel. It’s as if that country is now willy-nilly playing out a script already pre-written for it. Fascist regimes have not done well historically.
