Most recently, on a premise that because the Israeli Occupation was determined to not allow those elements of Palestine’s electorate that live in close proximity to East Jerusalem ‘their vote’. (But more probably: simply because the presiding Fatah Elite knows all too well that Hamas is near-guaranteed-certain to garner an increased level of ‘elected mandate’. Whenever next, there is any “open and free” election process.)
