Imagine saying: Mr Jackson is of Christian origin and nobody would understand what that means. But when you say so and so is of Jewish origin, it is meant to say that the person is of Israelite origin. People need to keep in mind that the European Jews DNA says that they are 100% European and therefore they are of European origin.
