There were a lot of influences from me ditching Christianity but philosophy was the glue between them. For the record, philosophy, like math, is not a Greek thing just because ancient Greeks were first to coin the term any more than mathematics and physics is. These are subjects baked right into the universe. This isn’t about nationalist hubris. It’s about caring about reality rather than fiction. What ancient Greeks great wasn’t their religious myths. It was their concern for reason and observation. What has made Jews great today is the exact same thing.
