You began with “oh irony” and accused me of making “generalizations” ……and then you went on an anti-Turkish tour-de-force of generalizations, as you so often do!
*We don’t see Greeks as our “enemy”. We see your notional fear of Turks as your enemy. It impedes good neighbourly relations. That’s why we want you Greeks to wake up to reality. We’re not in the Ottoman times. In 1923 Turks adopted a new forward looking mindset. Greeks unfortunately cannot let go of grudges, and these were amplified post-2008 global crisis.
*Someone who perceives an enemy will scrutinize that person. The avg. Turk isn’t even interested in Greeks, so there. All Greeks know who the leader of the Turkish Republic is. Ask who the leader of Greece or Cyprus is in Túrkiye and they might reply “Papendreou” and “Makarios”.
Your last three sentences….. might as well talk to a brick wall. So inappropriate.
