The French were in Algeria for 130 years and the British were in Aden Yemen for 130 years years and both invaders wanted to keep their invaded lands forever but eventually they were forced out by the indigenous population. Why didn’t international law come in their defense to help them to keep the lands they occupied by force the same way international law was there to tell the Arabs that the foreign European Jews must remain on Arab land despite their strong objection.
