Iran’s demand that others have fair elections is a bit rich. But they are not the only ones’ who believe that a two state solution is dead and the only realistic alternative is a one state solution. The one state solution has been quite in vogue in American intellectual circles for the last decade at least.
I have always thought that the one state people were delusional. I don’t see how given what we are witnessing that anyone can still be advocating for a one state solution… unless they are also expecting, or calling for, one side or the other to be exterminated.
