EU did not delegate the solution to this problem to the US but actually forced by apartheid Israel out of any settlement process/peace process and made to watch from the sidelines occasionally playing the role of false witness to sign up whatever US-Israel decide. EU major countries i.e. France have tried many times to bring EU into play but failed. Germany, the main perpetrator of the Jewish problem (historically a European problem) is happy to keep paying $ billions to Israel & chose, long ago, to be keep its mouth shut.
