The verses that allegedly show that we should be treating the Lord God and Creator of The Universe as some blind slot machine that delivers blessings to anyone who pumps money into a nation calling itself “Israel”…regardless of how they or the “Israel” acts. The Apostle Paul urged Christians to “prove all things” (1 Thes. 5:21), and John instructed believers to”…try the spirits…” (1 Jn. 4:1) to know what was true or false. So, let’s just pause for a moment to consider this. Modern “Israel” was created in 1948. The American President formally recognized them 11 minutes after they announced it. And what Blessings have happened in the 75 years since then? In 1948 did we have kids shooting teachers in schools?…people walking around looking like zombies on Fentanyl?…a lower cost of living where mothers could stay home with their children?…Government ordering churches to close because of the invisible germ threat?…mass shootings?…Obesity epidemic?…Diabetes epidemic?…people getting arrested for publicly reading bible verses that offended perverts?…drag queen shows in schools?….child genital mutilations described as a form of care?….a society where we can’t let our kids walk to the store without risking losing them?…a society where shoplifters take anything they wish and cops do nothing?…a society where rioters burn down police stations and the news reporter insanely calls it “mostly peaceful”? If this is your idea of God’s “blessing”, I’d hate to see what being cursed would look like.
