She is saying the colonialists (who suck!) were forced out of the countries they occupied by the resistance.
Is it bigotry to call the people who forced themselves onto a country, control their water, do not let them have a police force or airport. Do not let them have an army, routinely slaughter them and gleefully sing and dance while doing it monsters? Calling them animals is an insult to animals. Bigotry also has nothing to do with it.
