One thing that never fails to get attention is money. I’d say its not too soon to start discussing Israel paying reparations…much like post WW1 Germany was forced to do under the The Treaty of Versailles for civilian damages. Except in this case it would need to be backed up with a suspension of certain maritime laws.
So basically, a certain sanction is imposed…let’s say that there is a $25 reparations tax for every $1 worth of merchandise Israel purchases internationally. Israel can buy or sell from any location, but if the tax is unpaid BY THE SHIPPER prior to delivery of goods, then THAT SHIPPER can have any shipments of theirs seized and sold from anywhere in the world. In other words, if you are a shipper violating the reparations tax on behalf of Israel, then you have just authorized the worldwide piracy of every vessel in your shipping fleet and all of their contents until the reparations tax has been paid. Yes, of course, a shipper could have each and every vessel in their fleet accompanied by security escort ships, but this would increase shipping costs and reduce profitability.
