The red triangle was one of several Nazi concentration camp labels, especifically the one used for communists and socialists, who were the main type of political victims of Nazi persecution (“First they came for the communists…”) Not sure if that inspired this more recent Palestinian usage but, if so, it looks like recycled by the PLFP or people in that Marxist line of the Palestinian Resistance everybody seems willing to sideline and hide from view.
