“Israel launched a genocidal bombing campaign against Gaza on 7 October” –No, Hamas initiated a war with Israel with the massacre of noncombatants, firing thousands of rockets into Israels civilian populated areas, and took hundreds of hostages, violating every know UN Rules of War. And then Hamas was using schools, hospitals, mosques, and even journalist offices for human shields to hide military assets and military intelligence.
Hamas military units operate outside the confines of UN Rules of War and Geneva Conventions. Ironically, Hamas appeals to the United Nations for protection under those very same Rules and Conventions.
