You are correct, before the Europeans came to the New World there were no Europeans at all. The Yankees (natives of New England States were not fighting for freedom for women, native Americans, blacks, or poor whites, they were fighting against the British King. The Sons of Liberty identified with America, over their official status as subjects of Great Britain.
When Thomas Jefferson wrote the “all men are created equal”, he did not mean women, blacks, or indigenous people. It was a rebuttal to the going political theory of the day—“The divine right of Kings.” Jefferson owned 200 slaves at the time and George Washington was acquired more indigenous land for himself. So stop the ridiculous comparisons with Hamas.
