According to Angriff they’ve published 11 books since 1892 and none of them are by Quigley. Amusingly the ISBN number used only appears on Abebooks site. No where else.
I see little point in responding to you as you haven’t shown any evidence that the book was recalled and clearly it wasn’t being as there’s a good many First Editions for sale today and it’s still being printed – though the most recent run was in 2014.
MacMillian initially had at least two print runs so again not recalled. Nor is there a redacted version though there is a smaller print version which has fewer pages.
