Re: Hamas says rape harassment of Israel aim to tarnish group’s ‘humane treatment of hostages’ – Middle East Monitor

What good would it do for “Israel” to redevelop Gaza and then discover that in doing so they have so alienated themselves from the rest of humanity and become so hated around the world that they become prisoners in Israel?

Its not too difficult to imagine that the reputation of Israelis is so destroyed that as soon as they leave “Israel” to conduct business or take their family on vacation that they will be identified and targeted in every country on Earth. Imagine what that kind of life that would be…they visit a country outside of Israel and every time they return to their rental car, they have to hold their breath wondering if turning that key is going to be the last thing they do. Imagine going into a restaurant and some cook in the back overheard them speaking Hebrew on their phone and that food that is brought out to them contains a little something extra that stops the heart. Picture what life is like when its not some easily identifiable protest marchers who despise Israelis, but that feeling now permeates all societies around the world silently and it can surface from any direction at any moment.

Israel’s actions today just might be placing their citizens in exactly that position: prisoners in the land which they just insisted that they must have at any cost.
