The human cost in Gaza? Hamas had to know that if they massacred enough Israeli men, women, children, and babies, take hundreds of hostages, and fire 5000 rounds of rockets into Israel on Oct 7, that Israel would have to respond in a very aggressive manner. So again the prime cause and the prime responsibility is on Hamas, who wants to continue prosecuting this war and is still firing rockets into Israel’s civilian populated areas.
