Re: Gaza: What did Zionists learn from Jewish persecution?

On occasion I do but he rarely makes sense. Tzatz Daddy is only interested in an end game where one side, his, exterminates the other. He once claimed to only hate Zionists but it turns out that his hate is based on antisemitic hatred of Jews and Judaism.

I believe it was Karl Popper who first identified the paradox of a tolerant society – if one tolerates the intolerant (exemplified here by Tzatz Daddy) then intolerance will infect and destroy society. The intolerant will ignore and bypass rational argument and empirical evidence to undermine and assert control. In short you get extremists like Hamas, obvious bigots like Vinegar Hill and crazed conspiracy theorists like JamalX. MEMO and its authors attract such nutcases like flies are attracted to feces.

Jamal Kanj who wrote the above article is made of the same cloth. So much of what he claims is actually a projection of an Arab world view of how Arabs would behave. Rather than dissecting the talking points of his obsessive rant I’d like to just point out the two central fallacies:

There are no Hamas casualties. There are no valid military targets in Gaza.

If you believe that then every action by Israel will appear to be hugely disproportionate and unjustifiable. But the claims are not true, which means that the conclusions are false.
