Re: India workers seek jobs in Israel, undeterred by conflict

It’s like a caste system with Ashkenazis at the top, lording it over the rest. Ashkens constitute around 1/3 of Israel, the rest seem to be expendably sidelined into menial jobs, as well as the military. Yet the few token Knesset MENA Jews are seemingly the most fanatically vociferous Zionists; with a ‘just glad to be here’ demeanour about them when they’re not so outspoken.

I bet if the ROTW was entirely Evangelical, then Israel would self implode with various factions & sects scrambling for dominance. What binds them together is the encoded “they hate us for no reason” charge against Gentiles, else Israel is just too ad hoc for cohesion. It’ll take at least another 75 years of melding together before that can be achieved.
