As a guesstimate that’s roughly 10% of the global population who might potentially view Israel favourably as a result. Also factor in that Hamas is anti-LGBT then the sympathy vote for Israel intensifies.
Some of the most ardent Islamophobes in chat rooms are people who are covertly LGBTQA+. The image of ISIS throwing g@ys off the roofs of buildings seems to have traumatized them. They should learn not to conflate the extremely radical totalitarian regime of ISIS, with mainstream Islam. And Stephane shouldn’t let his orientation influence his judgement.
