UN and Human Rights are contradictory terms. Israel is defending itself in Gaza and because it was initiated by Hamas than this is a war and in war, killing is moral provided that it is to achieve an objective. The objective is to eliminate Hamas. It would seem that the Gazans are acting as either human shields or actual combatants. Israel is doing more than is required and in my opinion unnecessary.
