Israel needs to divert attention from the war crimes that they are committing. That’s one of their standard tactics. It’s “whataboutism”. Israel will say this country does this evil things or and it’s worse than what they do, therefore what they do it ok no matter how evil it is. Of course, accusing another country of doing something worse doesn’t change the fact that what they are doing is really evil and is certainly not relevant to any case against Israel.
