in the UNRWA case the employees were NOT dismissed – pending investigation.
They were FIRED, with an investigation to consider criminal charges.
That it took an outside source to point out these illegal behaviors, is a serious black mark on UNRWA, WHO etc who are bloated, ineffectual bureaucracies prone to complete corruption.
