I find it hard to believe that you ever “believed the chosen had to be more righteous than others”, although
Many military experts (Col. R. Kemp, Col. J. Conricus, etc.) do in fact say that Israel’s Defense Force (IDF) is
“The Most Moral Army on Earth”, even though many Gaza civilians have been unintentionally killed.
And,
Even a non-military person like you should understand that
– the IDF warning Gaza civilians where & when they should leave is the same as
– the IDF eliminating all surprise and telling Hamas where & when the IDF will attack them, and
– still the IDF issues does such warning, which saves both civilian & Hamas lives, and worse
reduces the likelihood of the IDF freeing the illegally abducted Israeli hostages, while
Hamas tells and even somewhat enforced that civilian human-shields remain.
