Mark Twain said that the hands of the European Jews had become ‘atrophied’ because they never use their hands to do anything that requires hard labor, therefore, the European Jews have very baby soft hands and therefore they could not have made the desert bloom – not with those baby soft Ashkenazi hands. That was why the Ashkenazi in Palestine wanted the Yemeni Jews to arrive desperately because then they would do the hard labor, they also knew how to grow crops whereas the European Jews knew nothing about farming.
